Amy J. Slattery

Amy is an entrepreneur, connector, and industry leader. With experience in groundbreaking high design and sustainability combined with engineering-based project management, Amy established Odimo in 2015 to serve clients with a vision-focused approach. As a Partner at SLATTERY, Amy reviews all work in the office, assuring design goals are in alignment with each project’s vision, budget, and schedule. In addition to significant arts, commercial, and community work, she has deep experience in research laboratory planning, bringing a unique technical attention to detail to all projects in the firm.

Amy’s diverse experience and leadership on the balancing act of design innovation and market-driven design results has led to several successful client and community partnerships as well as industry accolades. She was recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as Woman Who Means Business in 2020 and as a Next Gen Leader in 2018. She was honored by Engineering-News Record as a Midwest Top 20 under 40 in 2012 and was an American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Young Architects Award recipient in 2011.

Community, collaboration, leadership are central ideals that Amy measures the impact of her personal and professional work. A peer noted in the 2019 Firm of the Year nomination “Theirs is a mindset of true altruism. They believe that our profession is better when we all work together, rise together, to do great things together”.
