Brian Michener, AIA, LEED AP

Brian is an architect and urban designer with extensive experience in complex projects across a wide range of scales. From small site plans to major city-wide park systems, Brian creates durable planning documents that are actionable, environmentally sustainable, beautifully conceived, and intensely site-specific. Leveraging a diverse education in English, Art History, Architecture, and Urban Design, Brian’s primary focus is on the interrelation of architecture and urban design in the creation of vibrant and engaging places. His systems-based approach  knits together architecture and placemaking in service of enhancing the relationship between people and the built environment.

Brian also leads many of SLATTERY’s communication, presentation, and information visualization efforts. His keen graphic sensibilities enable him to tell sophisticated stories in clear, concise, and visually appealing ways.

With a collaborative spirit and a keen ear, Brian most enjoys working with clients and project teams to uncover the specific pathways to each project’s success.
