Julia Whitworth
AIA, NCARB
Julia is an impressive project leader bringing design, technical, and management talent to complex building projects. She believes successfully managing a project is best done by ‘learning the language’ of her clients so that she can acknowledge their needs, understand their perspectives, and provide meaningful solutions. Her project management skills and her focus on client relationships are central to her process. Julia knows that expectations need to be set early on in project planning for a project to be a success. Her leadership skills guide teams of consultants and ensure successful coordination from kickoff to ribbon cutting.
Due to her dual passion for architecture and art history, Julia’s passion for art-centric, purposeful design has influenced the way she thinks about, relates to, and perceives the built environment. Like the analysis of a piece of art, she analyzes project challenges from alternating perspectives, both literally and figuratively, to better inform her design solutions. She analyzes project challenges through a variety of lenses to help inform her community-driven, client-focused management strategy.

The creation of art is not the fulfilment of a need but the creation of a need. The world never needed Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony until he created it. Now we could not live without it.
